What is Google PageRank?
PageRank is an algorithm, named after Larry Page, used by Google. In general, webmasters can improve the rank of their websites by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to them (inward links).
PageRank uses more than 500 million variables and 2 billion terms. Pages considered to be of higher importance, receive a higher PageRank and are more likely to appear at the top of the search results. The highest PageRank possible is 10.
